Brief Project Description:

This project was developed for the following reasons:

  • To get students to examine, explore, and investigate various types of Web 2.0 technologies, as well as discover ways to use those tools to enhance teaching and learning.
  • To have students work on a real-world, team-based problem where they need to develop skills of communication and cooperation in order to create and deliver the needed wiki repository outcome.
  • To have students gain a more global perspective, by including team members from universities around the world.
  • To develop a practical tool that helps anyone at any time and location review, compare, and select effective Web 2.0 tools.

    Hey everybody!

I'm Kyle Moseley. I am a Sophomore in Engineering/Technology Education. I will probably end up teaching Middle School or High School. I went to McCutcheon High School and have lived in this area most of my life. I am excited to get working on this and get as much of it done early so we don't feel like we are in a hole at the end. Looking forward to working with you all.

    Hey gang,

My name is Luke Long and I am a Sophomore in the El. Ed. department!  I live in Indianapolis and I come from a family of 11 kids.  Being the second oldest, I know how to handle lots of little kids and 'craziness' that happens in life so I think teaching is the career for me.

This project looks really fun and I have faith that we will do a super job!  Kyle, you look like a hardcore leader who's in control.  You have my respect and I will do my best to contribute to this project.  Let's do it gang!

    Hi Team!

My name is Bonnie Buckingham and I am a freshman in Elementary Education. I live in West Lafayette about 3 miles from the school. This is my second career and I am looking forward to teaching. I have been a teacher's aide in High School for the ESL program a long time ago and loved it.

When it comes to this class I try to keep an open mind and a positive attitude! I do not mind working hard and look forward to helping out on this project.
