?What does the inbox and sent tabs do?
These buttons are very important. The inbox tab is actually your inbox. There you'll find replies to your videos and also videos that were posted directly to one of your videos. The sent tab is all the videos you have uploaded. Only your videos will appear there. They are shown from the most recent to the oldest video you have sent. You can also delete your videos from you sent tab. If you decide you have made a mistake or just don't like your video you can click the red x that appears next to that video and it will delete just that one.

?What if I don't speak English? Can I change the settings to my language?
YES!! That's what so great about Seesmic. It welcomes everyone from every where. To change the language that appears on your computer simply go the the picture of the globe at the top of the page and click it. There will appear a list of languages that Seesmic offers. There are a lot of different languages listed, so don't let a language barrier get in the way!

Seesmic does seem a lot like youtube but it seems more personal.

  2. Unknown User (flecka)

It looks really neat and I can't  wait to learn more about it! I really like how individual it is.

I've been playing around with this site the last couple of days and I agree with everyone else. It seems like a youtube site. There's tons of videos on here. Like Kelsey said it's kinda like a blog to. Overall this site is filled with lots of things that I'm sure I haven't even found yet.

Okay so I'm hoping you get one of the messages I send to you. Anyways we need to finish up that project 2. Let me know what you think we should do. I only have 2 classes tomorrow and I'm done by 12:30 so I'll be free all afternoon to work on it. Let me know.

Okay these are the questions that I've come up with. Let me know what you think
and what questions you have. After we figure out what questions we like the
best I'll e-mail Luara and tell her the questions so she can upload them.

    1. How do I get an account on Seesmic?

These are my questions. Let me know what you get. I think we need a question
like number 5 so we can incorporate the international aspect of the project.

    Thanks,

    Erin Gilley

I like these, the other questions I was thinking of would be: How can you incorporate Seesmic into the classroom? How easy is the website to maneuver around, so that it doesn't take forever to find the videos I want?  (I think this one can be incorporated into question number 2)

Okay I went ahead and posted them on the website but you are more than welcome
    to go and edit them

    Erin

    Cool...

    Kelsey

  7. Unknown User (kcbell)

what in the world is a screen shot and how do we get them? i have no idea i'm
hoping you do. let me know and we can get that done & finalize the chapter

    thanks
    Erin

    -----------------------------------------

Erin, I think that the screen shots are like a picture of what is going on, on the page.  ie... When you are talking about how the website should look when you bring it up, you would put a picture of the homepage.
    Kelsey

PS: I don't know if you got an email, but I asked Laura after talking to Haley, and we are supposed to just leave it in the context that it is now (Q & A) and then if we need to adjust we can.

    ----------------------------------------

Okay we'll give it a shot. If thats the case we are done except for the web
shots but I'm still not sure what to do there. I'll let you know

    Erin

    ----------------------------------------

I emailed Laura to ask if she knew because I was having issues getting the screen shots... If you go into TeacherTube (group 3) their purpose has examples of what I am thinking we need.  (smile)

(I don't know where the best place is to put the * since we used it on all of our section.  I wasn't sure if you wanted it at the end of the last question or what.  Or even if you wanted a number after each question.  So I will let you decide and make it flow with how the rest are footnoted.
